Partner Universities

Here you can find out about EF’s partner universities.

EF partners with about 35 universities across the UK, giving our students the chance to apply to some of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the country.

Partner universities are institutions with whom we work particularly closely and have formal agreements for students who successfully complete our qualification to progress directly to degrees at this institution, provided they meet their entrance requirements. This progression, however, still depends on the quality of your application, including your personal statement and, in some cases, previous qualifications, as well as on the grades you achieve in your EF Foundation Year and in IELTS. The terms of this agreement and the university entrance requirements can also vary from subject to subject.

It is still possible to apply to universities which are not partners, and every year about 10% of our students progress to non-partner universities. However, because we do not have such a close relationship or an official agreement with these universities, this can be more difficult and less predictable.

EF partner universities include a wide range of institutions in cities across Britain, from traditional, elite Russell Group universities to modern institutions offering courses with a practical emphasis.

We will be able to advise you on which universities best suit your needs and profile, as well as where our previous students have been most successful both in gaining admission and once at the university.
